They can accommodate family groups, up to six hunters, and are fully equipped to host corporate hunts as well.

Their Indiana trophy whitetail deer hunts begin with breakfast and an introduction to your whitetail guides, followed by a discussion of the game plan for the morning hunt. Depending on the deer hunter's preference, hunters can walk to their hunting blinds, while others can use an ATV. If walking long distances isn't feasible, just let them know—their ATVs are ready to take you directly to your blind. Most of their hunts take place in box blinds, though they also have ladder stands available. If hunters prefer, they're welcome to bring a climber or lock-on stand. While they prefer to use box blinds and ladder stands, they’ll always accommodate the hunter's comfort.

Once whitetail deer hunters are settled in their blind, they can sit back, relax, sip their coffee, and watch the sunrise over the hardwoods and pines. Hunters might find themselves overlooking a hillside that slopes down toward a pond filled with geese, envisioning their trophy whitetail buck walking along the water’s edge. Alternatively, deer hunters could be waiting in a hardwood funnel, anticipating their buck’s arrival. Their box blinds allow for some movement, helping hunters stay comfortable throughout the experience.

Occasionally, they’ll engage in spot-and-stalk whitetail deer hunts if the situation is right, and the hunter is interested. Hunters will hunt over food plots and among the woods' cover. At midday, hunters take a break for a light lunch, giving them time to relax before heading back out for the evening hunt. Whether hunters prefer using a rifle, bow, crossbow, or muzzleloader, they’ll be ready for the next phase of the adventure.

After hunters have harvested their trophy whitetail deer, the guide will handle skinning, cleaning, and quartering it for the hunter to take home. If needed, they can arrange for a meat processor and taxidermist to prepare the hunters' meat and mount the hunter's trophy to their specifications.

All trophy whitetail deer hunting ranch hunts last three days and are guided one-on-one, running from September 1st through March 1st. In addition, Backwoods’ hunting preserve offers five-day free-range whitetail deer hunting trips across thousands of leased acres.
